  I'm Dr. Beth Rutkowski, a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in both therapy and assessment. I am a supportive and solution-oriented clinician, and I love my work, a passion keeps me dedicated and innovative. You and I will be a team, and the goal of our time together is working towards your personal happiness and growth. Our process depends on what you desire to take from our therapeutic relationship, and use of my expertise to help you get there. Together, we will face the challenges mental health head on. We will explore patterns fallen into with your daily thoughts and actions, and identify those circumstances that contribute to these struggles. As we work to to modify these patterns, reinforcement and appreciation of your unique self is also a priority. I have experience assessing children, adolescents, and adults. I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC) though the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals. I was certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through Detroit-Wayne County. I hold a Doctoral Certificate in Child and Family Studies from Roosevelt University. I am also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
